Verses Challenge

Over two and a half years ago most bulletins began including a “This Week’s Verse” on the back page – a Scripture listed along with a comment/s about it.  The verses mainly came from a list compiled by Norman Midgette titled “The Power of 100 Scriptures” (along with a few personal additions) that was “designed as a memory list and as something which would prepare the average Christian with some basic Scriptures to use when talking with their neighbors.”

That list has now been exhausted.  While I could continue it by simply selecting more verses myself, I thought it good to challenge you the reader to select some verses for it.  If you – along with every other person reading this – submitted a few verses, there would be enough to continue the weekly feature indefinitely.  To remind you of the verses previously used, they are included here:
