This Week’s Verse - Acts 8:22

“Therefore repent of this wickedness of yours, and pray the Lord that, if possible, the intention of your heart may be forgiven you.”

Acts 8:22

Peter spoke these words to Simon, a Christian in Samaria (:13).  Those who believe the false doctrine of “once saved always saved” need to listen, as well as those who live like it is true.  Christians can sin, and when they do they will perish because they have no part with God and are not right before Him (:20-21). They have committed wickedness and need to repent and seek forgiveness.
