“Unless the LORD builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the LORD guards the city, the watchman keeps awake in vain.”

Psalm 127:1

A reader submitted this verse and commented, “Isn’t it so true!  We may think we are safe because we lock our doors at night, but the truth is, if someone wants in, they can and will.  But if the Lord is watching over us, we are completely safe from all harm.  The Lord is my watchman!”
