This Week’s Verse - 1 Cor 13:8-10

“Love never fails; but if there are gifts of prophecy, they will be done away; if there are tongues, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be done away.  For we know in part and we prophesy in part; but when the perfect comes, the partial will be done away.”

1 Corinthians 13:8-10

The spiritual gifts of prophecy, tongues, and knowledge have “failed” in the sense of no longer being needed.  They have served their purpose and have been “done away.”  “Love never fails.”  Its purpose is never completed, so it will never be done away.  Instead, it should grow stronger with time.  Never let your love fail.
