What If?
What if the doctor said that you only had one day to live? Would you make the needed changes in your life today?
What if today was the last time you would ever assemble with the saints? Would you pray more intently, sing more enthusiastically, give more liberally, and put more into your worship as a whole?
What if you knew your lost friend or relative only had one day to live? Would you find the time and courage to talk to him right now about the way of salvation?
Remember, “You do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away...See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time” (Jas 4:14; Eph 5:15-16). If you know something that needs to be done, then do it today while you can. Tomorrow may be too late.
