This Week’s Verse - Romans 10:9-10

“that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.”

Romans 10:9-10

While believing in Jesus is important, it must be accompanied by confession to lead to salvation.  Don’t be like the rulers who believed in Him but would not confess Him because “they loved the approval of men rather than the approval of God.” (John 12:42-43).  If we won’t confess Jesus, then He won’t confess us (Matt 10:32-33).

If you believe in your heart, then make it known by confessing with your mouth.
