This Week’s Verse - Rev 2:10

“Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, so that you will be tested, and you will have tribulation for ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.”

Revelation 2:10

Will we suffer for Christ?  Yes (2 Timothy 3:12).  How should we respond?  The same way Jesus told the saints in Smyrna: without fear and with faithfulness.  There is no reason to fear when we stand for Christ (Hebrews 13:6).  He was faithful to us even though it meant death, and we should be just as faithful to Him.  The crown of life awaits us.
